Default Ordering a custom Brenspeed tune.

Has anyone here ordered just a single tune from Brenspeed? I already had the SCT2 and ordered a tune from them and was currious about how long it would take. I assume its emailed when ready...

I did a while back. I just sent them all my info on car and mods in an email and sent the check through the mail with car info. It took a while longer, but was alright with that. I ordered a single tune file for 92 octane for my jlt. You may be surprised, even though mine was a simple order it took two weeks.

I just called them after placing my order, and asked how long it should take. He took my mod list over the phone, and after he had all the info it took about a week. great service.

That's about right, it took me a week too for me to get my tune. Bama on the other hand will get you a tune with in 12 hours or the next day. Not only is it cheaper, but it's incredible!!!! 93 Race tune!!!

Well I just installed it and I have to say I can tell a difference. Its not really night and day compared to my Granatelli CAI with stock tune, but it is noticable. The biggest thing I have to say is about the throttle response. It is so crisp now I dare say there is no excuse for how crappy it was from the factory.

My experience was exactly the same as for time and I just putthe Bama 93 Race tune in Mon after work (ordered Sat. night received Mon.) seemsa little more perky and MPG is up by 2 (17/19).

After driving it for a while I see the down side of the higher trottle sensitivity. Its great for when I want to get buck wild with it. But its much more difficult in everyday driving. Even the slightest poke at the pedal makes the trottle practically fly open. Anyone elese notice this or is it somthing I just have to get used to? I feel like an idiot whiping my self back and forth in lower gears.[:@]

+1.. Now imagine having a blower under your foot, too..

You get used to it. I'd say within a week of regular driving I was used to the regular CAI/tune. I'm still getting used to the blower. That's a MUCH bigger jump in power..
