Default JBA LongTubes rattles

Hi,

I have som trouble with my JBA Cheramic Long Tubes.
When car is running and under load the pipes shakes and rattles against the car(much).
I do not have any H-pipe or any thing. Just two pipes who are never connected togheter.

Is it possible that this is a direct problem because I do not have any H-pipe who is holding/pressing them togheter.
If maybe the pipes can be a little pressed into the center of the car and then the rattle will disappear.
Or is this a problem because I dogot stock motormounts?

Any thoughts are gratefully apriciated.
Thanks
Daniel, Sweden

I had some rattling after getting my JBA installed. My problem was eithera bracked was hitting a bolt or that my cats where hitting the heatshield. Since we ajusted both at the same time I don't know which fixed it. I have the stock motor mounts.

I've heard that more than once concerning the JBA longtubes. But I installed mine along with a tubular k-member (BMR's) and that gave me nearly 1/2 on both sides, plus made it a bit easier to the damn things in. No rattles.

Motor mounts solved my rattling. Fairly inexpensive and easy to install.

Thanks for your inputs.
Tomorrow I will try to fix this orat leastget it better.
I will make a bar for connecting the two pipes together and "press" them to the center of the car.
Hopefully the headers will stop shaking and give some more space for engine to moving in.

I will post when operation is done, and hopefully give a positive response.

After you did change the mounts.
Was there any big difference in unwanted sound/vibrations?
Hopefully I don´t need to change. But I guess If I must I will do it.

I did a connection between the two pipes now and did pressed them into the center of the car.
Much better, now I can drive it
When turning and accelerate I guess the headers is touching the steering bar, and a ratteling sound appers.
I guess new motor mounts is the deal.
