mark101, the automatic loses more HP from the flywheel to the rear wheels than the Manual does so there is a matter of power b/t the two...but ultimately, the answer to your question depends on the driver of the cars.

I thought that they both came stock with 3.55's???
Also there's different gears in the auto which make it a little slower also.
