Parts like Aluminum driveshaft, lightweight flywheels, and gears I knowdon't makemore power but make they do makeare cars faster. If I installed this parts and then dyno my car, would I see and increase in power? I would think since you are putting more power to the wheels but I want to make sure.

I believe with the dirveshaft poeple have seen a small hp increae but a quciker e.t. non the less. I think with gears someone actually dropped a few hp on the dyno. I really dont know so dont live by my word.

Lightweight parts should show up on the dyno because, while not affecting engine power, they do affect wheel HP. Since that's what the dyno measures, you should notice the difference. Dunno about gears.

Like AmericanMuscle said, gears are adjusted for before you make a pull. I can tell you that flywheels and driveshafts will show up. Your measuring horsepower, which is torque*rpm/5252 and torque is moment of inertia*angular acceleration. This essentailly means torque is inversly proportional to angular acceleration by a factor of moment of inertia. Skipping the calculus, moment of inertia does depend (exclusively) on the location and amount of weight of a component.
