Paxton Fuel upgrade
Ok..After searching forums I still can't make up my mind what to do, I'm going with a Paxton 2200 HO and will be around the 450 ish range and will be happy with that so no future upgrading. The kit I bought does not come with a pump, Not a tuner kit a complete kit except the pump upgrade. So my choices I've come up with are.
1. BAP and wire upgrade $300
2. Duel GT pumps $350
3. GT500 pumps $700
I would like to hear from the guys that have these systems and which one is best bang for your buck but safe as well. I have a extra factory pump as well but I just can't seem to make a decision on this and help would be great.

RE: Paxton Fuel upgrade
I went with the Paxton HO also and I would go with the GT500 complete set-up hands down. This is a complete unit basiclly plug and go. No hacking on your pump assembly, just run the wires and drop in the new pump set-up an your done. It is a pain to get the old pump out and the new pump in but not that bad.I installed mine and was up and running in less than 2 hours, thats with everything back in place, back seat, all wiring zip tied and all mouldig in place. I know some will say its not worth the extra $$ but this is a new set of pumps, pump driver, fuel level sending unit, etc from Ford plus a warrenty on the whole set-up. Plus would you want to trust your motor on several wire splices and one used pump? All it takes is a second of no fuel and BOOM! I like the peice of mind myself. Just my .02

RE: Paxton Fuel upgrade
I would recommend the BAP for the following reasons.
1. I have never heard of a BAP going bad, if it does you will not run at all. The BAP install takes 5 minutes literally.
2. The dual GT fuel pumps will not have enough power to them without a BAP in addition to the pump upgrade.
3. I have heard of the GT500 pump set up losing1 FPDM and toasting an engine from a lean condition.
4. $750 for the GT500 setup is more then 3 times what you will pay for the BAP($220).
Hope this helps.
BTW- I am running the dual Paxton pump setup with a BAP for enough power to them. If I could do again I would have just run the BAP as its good for 550RWHP on its own with a stock pump.
