I've never heard of a complaint with either tuning company. That being said I personally have gone, and would go with Brenspeed.

couple of things to remember,

87 octane gas (if even87 octane gaq qualityout here sucks !!!)
Not sure if either place knew how to dyno a auto properly,
and it was 90 degrees for all the runs

Lots of dyno run #sI have seen on this forum
RWHP 295+ with just a CAI/tune, I call BS !!!
No way on an AUTO, there is like 20% parasitic loss on a AUTO

thanks

The ambient temperature is irrelevant ifyour dyno #'s were SAE adjusted.

wow!!!!!! that's great mileage. can you describe your city driving? my city driving consists of a lot of red lights & stop signs in west los angeles. i have always ageraged 10-13 mpg whether on stock or tune. ijust filled up yesterday & drove on average 75-80 mph for about 40 miles. according to the gauge i got 20.5 mpg (ac on) on an 87 perf tune (vmp). even on the 87 mpg tune, i think i only averaged 22-24 mpg on the freeway. only mods are the vmp intake & pypes mid-muff system which is a non-factor. is there something wrong w/ my car or do my numbers sound right for LA, CA? thanks.

Have you considering paying $125 and gettingTunes for 87, 91, 93? You could run the 87 when required, the 91on the first tank of Premium and 93after that. I got17/27 Stock on 87, 18/28Stock on 93, and 19/30Tuned on 93 so the 93 with tune comes close to paying for itself.

Bama tune. Doug is a genious with N/A tunes. I had a Brenspeed tune but my tunes doug made for my friend were pretty well made. I felt the O **** feeling slightly bit more and his car felt better at low RPM's

This may not be an issue for you, but I do a lot of long distance trips with my Stang and have had the occasion where I could only find 87 octane. I typically run a Brenspeed 89 tune (I have his 87, 89 and 93 tunes) and was able to change to the 87 tune on-the-spot. The 87 custom tune is hands down MUCH better than the stock 87 tune.
