hope this isnt a sign of things to come...returning to stock
Whipple will arrive tomorrow so I was making preperations this evening getting the car jacked up and marking some connectors, and the first thing I attempt is to put the tune back to stock using the SCT. Gets to 60% and fails, now it wont read the factory strategy, DTC codes or anything.
Reckon I'll start searching the forum and find an easy solution.
I had specifically ask the dealer not to re-program the car but maybe when they did state inspection and the airbag recall it put a different strategy in......

you would have known if they overwroteyour tune and did an upgrade when you left the dealership.....the car would not have been running right and you would throw codes

You're right.
I dont know what to do if it's an SCT problem. If you follow the steps to "return to stock" and then it ask "turn key on do not start" it times out, it doesnt even see the ignition turning on.

Whew!! got it. The SCT must have a loose connection at the case. If I held my mouth right and then sit still until it finished it went okay.
Sorry for the premature panic, this Whipple install hasme nervous. Off to the man cave for the rest of the weekend.

I'm glad to see the load of the tune can continue without intervention of a dealer. Your post was starting to worry me (since I was having issues loading a new tune, but not exactly like yours though).
