Im not sure what the diff is but they are basically tips straight thru muffler thats it, nothing inside it at all. id post a pic for ya but they are at powder coating as we speak.

I am driving my car with out them on right now and it sounds the exact same basically a tad diff but not any louder or quiter.just no tips. really thats all they are is expensive tips, you might aswell get the cheap ones from brenspeed instead of the slps cause its basically same ****.

The LM2's are basically the same as the LM1's except are quiter and less resonance I guess. I'm looking at welding a muffler on though, not the SLP 05+ kit so its a little different
