For axle backs, here's my top three in no particular order (these sound VERY good and have little to no drone):

- Corsa (expensive though)
- Boomtubes
- Pypes Mid-Muffler system

Stay away - FAR AWAY - from Flomasters. Some people on here will say they love them, but I had them on my 08 and absolutely hated them. The drone was unbearable. Could not even listen to my stereo. I saved for weeks until I could afford something different. Flomasters were a total waste of my time and money.

Youtube vids are OK, but it will sound different in person. Best bet is to find someone in your area that has changed their exhaust on the 05+ mustang, hunt them down and listen. Find out what they bought and go for a ride with them. If you can't find anyone local then I would suggest spending the extra money for the Corsa exhaust. The sound is loud outside the car, and they won't kill your ears inside the car.

Good luck man!

Get the stingers (Steeda, Borla, FRPP)! Best sound on the Mustang GT IMO.

Don't worry about the drone b/c you have a manual transmission. You can hold 4th gear if you are cruising under 55 MPH. I only use 5th if I am on the highway going 65+ MPH - no drone!
