Yes, it's OK to run a low octane tune with high octane gas. Just never run a high octane tune with low octane gas.
The 87 tune with 91/93 octane is perfect for running a 75 shot of N20. The 87 tune will have some timing pulled
and N20 needs 91/93 octane.

FYI: As far as chirping gears, lets say 2nd. I just tested today. You do not need to go WOT to chirp 2nd. When I
go WOT and it hits 2nd, I do alot more than chirp..I feel my backend kick out to the passenger side. If you want
to hear a nice chirp w/o going WOT, do this: Drop it into 1st (yep, manually) and accelerate...not quite putting
your toe into it, but acceleratemaybe3/4 throttle, then at about 4-5k or so..manually shift it into 2nd. You'll hear it.

you arent chirping 4th and 5th, you are hearing things or something else is happening.....maybe on a track i can see 4th gear but even that is highly doubtful

There are things Brent and Doug can do these days with the auto trans that makes them feel more like MT's. Ive read about them being able to turn off the tq mangement, not allowing it to go into od until you hit 55mph then dropping out of od when you fall below 55, and not allowing first to shift until 3k are some. This is part of the reason I need to call and talk to Brent about my trans, I have Doug's race tune installed right now and need to talk to him as well. Ive read some elightnening info about TC's as well and am seriously considering a 3000 stall for my N/A motor, I used to thinkof the TC as a mod for FI or track use but not so much anymore. I can chirp 2nd and 3rd with both tunes.

Brent fixed me up last year with a 93 shift tune. I have never tried any lesser octane's as I run 93 in all my cars. 1-2, 2-3, will chirp with the traction control on any time your at 1/2 throttle or better.

HI.Don't post too often but heres my 2 cents.Bama 91 performance tune,3:73 gears, stock 17" pirellis-chirps 2nd and 3rd.If i go wot from a roll(say 10mph)car accelerates like mad and about 30'later tires start to light up big time and the rear starts to kick out to the right. This thing has put a grin on my face since I got it!

Chirping and auto is just plain fun. They do a wonderful job with these tunes.
