rivercitymike, how do you like your BBK shorty headers? I'd like to get some shorties to help my stang's exhaust sound. It's hard to find a good shorty header clip on youtube unless the car has FI also, and that changes the sound.

I have the FRPP Stingers and once I went with a Dynamat kit in the trunk on my 07 Gt convertible, the dreaded drone was eliminated by an estimated 85%. Once I changed my gears from my stock 3.31 to 3.73, this set up took away the 5th gear 75 mph drone ~1900-2000 rpm.

Flowmaster American Thunder Axel-Back

I've got the Flowmasters on my 08 GT, and I like the sound a lot.

As for fit and finish, I put them on during my lunch break at home. I didn't even have to jack the car up! Back to work in under an hour...

I am going to try the Bassani street a/b and Bassani catted X. I love the Bassani sound.

To reduce drone, you can get an X-pipe.

I've got FRPP Stingers and just added Bassani catted X. Greaty googly moogly that's an awesome setup. I love the sound. The Bassani catted X added a big dose of rawness and volume to the Stingers. WOW.

At one time I thought I might want headers. Not any more. Bassani catted X is all the volume and rawness I need.

Now...I need to swap my Stingers for GTAs or Corsas because I can't deal with the drone. I'm old I guess...pushing 40.
