Just for info the Mustang comes with 4ea tether ancors on each side in the back so you can strap the seat in properly. I have 4 kids of which 3 live with me. Ages 11,15,18 and 20. Unfortunatly it's the 18 yr old that lives with the X. Gotta shove that 20 yr old back out the door "again". LOL

I was able to get both car seats (fwd facing for my 5yr old and rear facing for my 1 yr old) fairly easily in the backseat using latch for both. Only did that for a few days, wife and kids along with their french fries and cokes no longer allowed in my GT (she's got the SUV for that!).

Just picked up 2 Eddie Bauer car/booster seats yesterday for my O5 GT Conv. Haven't put them in yet...just can't bring myself to do it yet. Only driven the car about 5 miles so far, too much rain here in NY lately. But I'm sure my 2 and 3 yr old daughters won't be tight for space back there. Seems pretty roomy. The only other 4 seat convertible out there I was interested in was the Lexus SC. But the back seat was half the size and double the price. The choice was easy. Good Luck, and welcome!

Ditto what the others said. My son is two and his car seat fits great in the back seat. Actually the way the seat is dished out makes a baby seat fit particularly well, it doesn't slide around. I do put a towel down under it to keep the baby seat from creasing the leather. The one problem is his feet are all over the back of the front seat unless I put the seat back up nearly vertical (not comfortable for someone sitting up front). The seat belt has the locking retract feature which helps hold in a baby seat too (extend it all the way out, then retract it and it will lock).
