hehe.. this is pretty much a street and strip question.. +1 to allprevious posters. and as we talk about on here.. even we make our mustangs into 450rwhp for less than $35,000 (total expense, 25k on car 10k in mods) capable of beating much more expensive cars it doesn't mean that those other cars suck.. There is always looks, comfort, warranty... a lot of other things to be considered so even if you drop a jet engine in a civic hatchback I doubt an average person is gonna think its an awesome car, givin the choice of a z06 vs your hatchback (which might be faster in a quarter mile) almost everyone would choose the 'vette. Good look with your build. I hope you get what you are looking for. (ofcourse I'm just picking on civic's here.. could be an older muscle car you make into a track beastie too) And +1 to you to on paying for it yourself.. There is something to be said to earning it on your own.

Low 13's should be easy with good weather. Autos aren't the fastest out of the box, but with intake/tune, they will get up and go.

Yeah, my Brenspeed tune makes mine shift like a bat out of hell WOT. It shifts so hard the car jumps. Feels like it's power shifting or something.

your friend isn't BS'ing....

low 13's is possible, in fact, I'd go on to say he sucks at it if he can't get into the 13's with his mods....
