Default 92 on 93 tune?

A friend of mine didn't realize that wawa only had 92 octane gas and filled up the car. I have an 05 GT with C&Lintake/AR LT headers/axle back and evo 93 tune. Will it cause any permanent damage to run this tank? I have noticed a slight throttle lag with the 92. What do you think is best to do? thanks

If you have a Tuner and the user adjustable options are not locked out remove 1 degree of timing at full throttle.
If not dont worry about it. PCM will pull timing if you hit the knock sensor.

IF you don't have a tuner to adjust the timing (as Gene K suggested) or to reload a lower octane tune, then be easy on the throttle until you get to about 1/2 tank. Then fill with 93. This will get you roughly to 92.5. Stay easy on it and you should be fine to the next fill.

Yep, just don't lay into for that tank and you should be fine. I actually run a 91 octane tune for this very reason. I'd never notice the difference between the 91 and 93 tune, and the 91 version gives me a little flexibility for running anywhere from 91-93, etc...
