Default RPM Shifting ?

I have 93 oct tune, JLT 2, CMDV plates. If anyone has a set up like this, when are you shifting? I am shifting at 2.5 rpm, sometimes 3. I find that from 2nd to 3rd is where i am curious on shifting. Sometimes i get a boost, and sometime i get lag. When should i be shifting mainly during daily driving?

First off, why would the tune, CAI and CMDV plates make any difference?

If I think to look and under normal acceleration, all my shifts are in the 2k to 3k range. But I'lloccasionally shift near redline just to "blow the pipes out". And if I'm really driving pokie, it may be a bit below 2k. To tell you the truth, I go more by feel and sound than by the tach.
