Default KB Boost A Pump, the control ****?

Whats the point of the adjustment **** on the KB BAP. When I got mine with my Vortech S/Cer from brenspeed, the dircections from brenspeed for the pump stated that I had to leave the **** on max at all times. If thats the case then whats the point in having a control ****?

i have one coming this week,i thought i read somwhere that you didnt need the **** and by wiring a certain way it would always be on full blast,no **** or vacuum switch. thats how i plan to do mine.

tacobill has a write up in the stickys up top.

I read the write up and he didn't mention any of the wiring up to the engine or the control ****. Let me know what you figure out when you install it, pretty sure that teeing into the vacum line is a must for the BAP to even work.

the vacuum switch you definitly dont need to hook up,it is probably just a contact closure so if you wire those 2 wires together it would always be at on,which is what you want..you could hook up the **** and just leave it back there.

from tocobill write up:
"Only deviation from the KB directions is that the 2 wires that would normally go to the boost activation switch has been bypassed to be ‘always on’. This is per Brenspeed’s recommendations. "

In my Paxton instructions it utilizes the adjustment **** control but specifically states not to use the vacuum switch.
