That does sound sick man, I'm getting comp cam blower stage 2 cams put on as soon as they get in. (prob a week or so) It was stated to change gears to 3.73 with these cams in the write up and also was strongly recommended by the guy I talked to at comp cam, he told me that most cams will take away from your bottom end a little bit, but can be easily fix (and some) with gears. So I am getting 3.73s put on this weekend. I'm am looking forward to the change and I can't wait. So congrats on the cams and listening to yours makes me wonder what mine is going to sound like with a totally different exhaust set up then you.

How much did it set you back? Feel any difference? Thanks.
How much did it set you back?
Tools- $238
Parts- $80(besides the $800 cams)
Time- 5 1/2 hours

Feel any difference?
Other than the car shaking..yes lost some bottom end, but if you are thinking of doing these cams just plan on a tune. I need to get it on the dyno or get a tune from Bama to make
a far assessment. Right now it just seems to be running rich.
I think install by a shop is around 300 for them also, so if you dont want to try this yourself you arent going to be out too much more to have them installed anyway

Jmose- when and where did you order your cams from? I ordered from latemodelrestoration early June and have not received them. I have been following up regularly with FRPP and latemodelrestoration. I know I will most likely get them this week but just am a little irritated that I have not seen them when I asked for second day air and I know FRPP had them on hand 2 weeks ago.

[font="'primasans bt,verdana,sans-serif'"]I checked on these cams back in May with the guys that made the original youtube video and last week I got an email from Tommy @ JPC Racing asking if I was still interested. So I checked with Late Model once more and they still could not tell
me when so I canceled my order and ordered them trough JPC. Tommy had them on hand last Monday so I ordered them and they came in on Thursday. He told me at the time he only had 19 sets but that was a week ago.
