It really depends where you go and how they do it. I had to pay 200 bucks at 100 per hour. So it took them 2 hours to do mine. Should have done it myself though.

 

I'd rather have a shop do mine just in case a bolt breaks off.

 

so do the JBA's require a tune? cause i have a 93 brenspeed. would it need an update?

 

No tune "required", however...

 

yhea,brenspeed said no tune required on the bbk shorties.i have there tune now and will be installing the ceramics soon.i wanted them just for the apperence under the hood so any sound and torque gains are just a +.

 

but a tune specific tune that includes the shorty headers wont hurt, when I got my tune my whole exhaust sounded better and I had better throttle response.

Brenspeed quoted me $700. Seems way high. I broke me clavicle and am out of commision from wrenching for another month at least. I may find someone else that will do it cheaper.

 

What type of shop was that?
