More power to you, but we all know that in maybe 6 months or so you will be regretign it. You will pay more for the upgrade on any kit rather then buying it right out.

We'll this isn't too hard to figure out, JUST DON'T RUN IT AT 480-490RWHP!!...I'm at 430rwhp with the paxton 2200 setup. I told my tuner I did not want more than 430 at the wheels on the stock motor and thats what he gave me. Just get a conservative tune. Even at my power level it was hard to get traction in first and sometimes second gear when I first had it installed but I do not have any more problems now that i'm used to the power...

Exactly. Might start to regret it before you even put the SC on. I wouldnt put any type of FI on my car without an intercooler no matter what psi.

yea, why shoot for large numbers off the bat if you're worried about it? get a couple tunes and work your way up to it, even though it seems to be the general consensus that 450whp is the tipping point for the stock block, others have gone over and above that but why play with matches?

hmm..thinking about it some more I am pretty sure I will work on the exterior for the rest of this year and possibly next spring will come the supercharger.Winter is coming up and the GT is gonna be my only car (though considering also a winter beater truck) ...Alaska winters are HORRID!~
