Actually I did replace the Fuel Filter a while back. Maybe that's the reason I don't see the hesitation as much. My original one was so clogged I don't see how ANY gas got through. I tried to blow through it and HOLY CRAP! Hardly any of my air came out. I blew on the new one and it was like blowing through a straw; perfectly fine and easy.
That bad? wow! How many miles were on the car when you changed the fuel filter? I have 21k, myabe I should do it.

I have the similar issue. Doing 60 or so in the middle lane, nail it to pass, and after the pedal is on the floor, the car thinks about it for a second then wahh!!!!! Hate that delay. I'm auto, and I have an SCT tune, its not as bad as stock, but its still there. My shop guy said he's gonna look into it.....

Just a curious question...

How full was your gas tank at the time?

I know my mustang if floored in first on less then 1/4 tank will sometimes have a HUGE hesitation around 4k. It feels like the car hits a redline, then 1 second later. It takes off normally again.

I had a similar hesitation problem which eventually became a idle problem. Had to get new throttle body to fix.
