Twiz - Before you dump the pipe I would try the following.

Get some exhaust RTV around the connections and try the resonators.

IMO even if you still dont like the sound they will work great with your Prochamber.

They really do fix all the ill's of 3V exhaust.

Just sold the pipe actually pending payment.

War got any clips of your car with the Prochamber/Stinger combo? Thanks

FYI for anyone else considering this midpipe
the problem of a leak at the manifolds with the pypes o/r-h is quite common. i too had this problem, but luckily it's a pretty easy fix. the connector from the pypes midpipe will bottom out on the manifold studs before it actually seals. no matter how tight you crank it down, it won't seal. you must grind out the holes on the midpipe just a bit so that it'll seat down on the manifold all the way. also, once you get the h pipe installed, take it and have someone weld the pieces together or it WILL eventually leak at the downpipe and crossover clamps.

MustangGT0405 good Idea with those resonators. I will be doing the same if I'm dissatisfied with the tone and rasp
DONT DO IT! I tried it and if you think the borla trumpets its twice as loud with the flows! Im either selling the flows or adding pypes high flow cats to the H.

Well I gotta say you're right about the trumpeting, it sounds like an orchestra playing under my car haha. The setup is loud as hell and I thought the H would alleviate the problems I had with the X. It doesn't fix them all but the rasp is much much MUCH better. I hated the rasp that came with the X especially on decel. Cold startups were bad too b/c it would warm up right in the rasp range making it crazy loud.

I had the same idea myself, I'm either ditching the flows (which will prob rust out soon enough anyway lol) or getting the pypes cats. Im wondering exactly HOW high-flow the pypes cats are. I really liked the bassani cats I'm wondering if the pypes ones flow just as well.

Ohh and HARRIAD, they now have inserts for the tips of the H that connect with the exhaust manifold which stops leaks (at least so far). And as far as the rest of the pipe, just weld it and you'll never have to worry. Welded mine this morning!
