I just never liked the leather boot that comes with these cars ...doesnt fit perfect but not bad..

i do like it, but i tend to rest my
hand at the base of the shifter, so
it may not work for me...

i had shifter boots like that.....

Looks great, i put one on my 71 and always wanted one on my 06. What are you doing about the rubber rideing up the hurst stick all the way to the ball? why not push it down to show more of it? -Jon

It probably looks more bulky in the picture then it really it is...I was never a big fan of the leather boot on a hurst shifter..just doesnt seem right to me, it was ok with the stock ****. I used the groment from the old leather boot. The rubber boot is from a hurst kit Indy boot & plate although i didnt use the plate. Part No: 1148429. I also retained the plastci frame that snaps in just removed the leather. The plate i used i believe was from upr....I have pushed it down a bit to expose more of the shifter..
