Default MAC CAT back?

I'm looking into buying a CAT back exhaust system for my 05 GT and so far i like the sound of the MAC CAT back with the 4 inch exits a buddy of mine had it on his 06 GT and loved it. I'm wondering if anyone on here has or had it and what they think or thought about it. Any input would be very helpful thank you.

Its the best sounding system with the stock mids IMO. Are you considering going o/r anytime in the future? If you are then I would shy away from it because it will trumpet. If you plan on leaving the cats on then hell yeah get it. Dont get the full catback though, just get the axleback mufflers, the stock tubing is already 2.5" and you would be spending more money then you need to. I love the sound of my macs......very deep. Sounds like a mustang should

BTW sound clips do no justice considering most cameras cant pick up the true depth of the sound

I am planning on leaving the CATs on so no problem there. I'm ordering it through Brandt racing out here in Lancaster. The guy is selling my the whole CAT back for $375 so i figured why not get the tubing also. The system is all stainless steel so i figure it'll look nice as well.

thanks for the help mynameismike65

I have MAC axlebacks and really like the sound of them. Out of all the mufflers out there MAC sounds the best to me but it will all depend on the sound you are going for. I was looking for a setup a lot louder than stock and that had more of a muscle car sound. MAC fits the catergory perfectly.
