13k is a lot of money, I imagine you could have all the machine work done with the stroker kit for less than 5k including the kit.

13k is outrageous! Who would take that over the Blown 5.4? The one benefit you get over doing it to your own block is turn around time, you will be without your car for some time.

20-40 HP gain depnding on what you do. The benifit is being able to turn up the power on an FI powered car.

I wish they advertise the pistons they used. The crank is an industry standard, the rods are good, just wish they said who made the pistons.

Not that I need them.

thats an interesting looking kit....only 20-40hp gains though. I bet you could get more than that out of it. Thats something I'll be looking into.

I wish too. But all it really does performance wise is give you another 21 cubic inches. For the NA crowd if you up'd the compression and were fukll bolt on from throttle body to LT's, you could get the 400 rwhp. I don't if it would be very streetable. From most of the articles I see written about stroking our motor to the 298-302 range, 20-40 hp without any added boost or bolt ons.

The big benifit here is if you have a power adder. Then you can turn the boost up and go from there without much worry.
