I actually have a boost gauge setup now but i think i might have a leak in the line. But since i am rebuilding a lot of stuff i will just fix it then. I almost dont want to rebuild the bottom end because i was talking to my dad the other day and i asked him what we were going to do when its just to much for the stock motor and we couldnt improve anymore what we would do and he said get the 521 or 531 cubic inch ford racing motor which makes like 600 na and possibly put a tt setup on it but i dont really want to go with a twin turbo. I am a s/c man so i dont know. O and i already have a better clutch and a gt500 fuel pump as well as a boost a pump about to go on. Just looking at stuff to make this an extremely mean pony.

I thought you said you already built the bottom end in your first post? So do you have the stock block with stock internals or do you have forged internals?

No what i meant in my last post is i dont want to completely rebuild the bottom end. I had a really bad weekend and last week but i still found time to replace the stock internals. so the bottom end is ready for the boost i just dont feel like doing anything else to the motor so i will be able to step up to a bigger fully built engine that will be able to either a different system or something. But the current engine is setup and strong enough to run more boost now just trying to decide where i want to go from here.

Im confused whats the question? How much boost you should run on the street? If so then thats totally up to you if your car can handle it, I run 17psi on the street and havent had any problems except for breaking my transmission which i replaced with something stronger.
