horsepower VS. rebuild

around how much horsepower do people rebuild these engines and rear ends. Or if rebuild isn't the correct term around how much horsepower do people strengthen these cars to keep them from throwing a rod or twisting something?

About 460-480rwhp is considered a safe limit without forged internals.

I don't know what you mean by "how much horsepower do people strengthen these cars"?

Getting forged internals opens up a larger power ceiling, but you still have to worry about your transmission/driveline.

sorry I meant around how much horsepower do people reach before they find it necessary to strengthen their car

and what can you do so you don't have to worry about your transmission/driveline?

Like stated above... 480-500 is a safe limit before having to worry about a whole lot... but an upgraded clutch would be in the near future if you get on it a lot...
