Yellow sucks. My brother had a hood for his 3000GT delivered by them and they tried to leave while he was inspecting it because they knew it was damaged. When did whipple switch to yellow? When I got mine in January, it came FedEx freight.

Nine inch nail: So what are the big boost kits on fordracingparts.com all about then? I assumed they contained all the parts shown.

A few questions:

The manual says to route the fuel rail line over the sc. It would look alot better routed behind. How has everyone done it?

I decided to use a bit of high temp rtv to hold the gasket on, after seeing the sqeeze out after torquing I'm having regrets. Anyone else use it instead of a more traditional way to hold the gasket in place?

The manual says to torque the timing cover bolts common to the alternator mounts to 37 ft lbs then 90 degrees. I just torqued them to 25 ft lbs same as the alternator. 37 + 90 would surely strip out the bosses in the block. This has to be a typo. Anyone do the 37 + 90 degrees?

In all a productive day. I was able to get torques on all fasteners and a neighbor brought over his calibrated torque wrench so I could see how mine compared. Mine were fine. Couldn't order the procal tool because my vin is already registered on the site. I'll call them first thing.

Thanks for the support. It is appreciated.
That fuel line fits under the blower near the rear, look down the side of the blower and you will see what I mean. Highlighted green in this picture.

I followed the torque instructions, but I doubt I got to 90 degrees, maybe 45 degrees past the required torque. No problems.

Used a very tiny bit of gasket seal, just to hold the gasket in place while installing the blower. Took two people, no way I could have done it myself (bad back).

I torqued to whatever the manual said. I used the online manual, which seems to have been deleted. Hammeron, where'd that pdf file go? I don't think I did a full 90 degrees though.

The fuel crossover hose goes under the blower. I used gasket cinch just like the manual stated. I still have a whole can of it.

Yellow didn't deliver my blower, they kept it at their warehouse until I came and got it though. yellow sucks *****! When I finally tracked it down, they wanted to deliver it 4 days later. It was an hour away from me, so I said I'd come and get it. I think it depends on where you live as to what deliver method is used. I got mine back in August of 07
