I bought a set of black ones from ebay for $69 or $79 last month. They are kinda semi-flat black. Being a painter, I think a little adhesion promoter and a couple of coats of your favorite color is all that would be needed. I painted all the extras on my car in my garage at home. Only used 1 pint of paint for the ducktail, side scoops, window covers and front spoiler....

Everyone just keep in mind.....you get what you pay for! I only say this because I know you all love your cars very much and are very proud of them. There are definately some cheap products out there, but they are just that. Cheap. Just a thought
