Default Headers Leaking

I installed OBX headers a little while ago and have had a hell of a time to get them to stop leaking. The problem was clearly at the collectors due to a not so perfect fit and the worst clamps i have ever seen. Well, after a couple of methods i think i got it shut, but i still hear what sounds like an exhaust leak. It is most apparent when cruising in 5th. I was told that it will always sound like a leak because of the long tubes, but this doesnt sound right to me? Is this true or do i have a leak somewhere?

Mine doesn't sound like a leak, all the sound comes out the back where its suspose to. If you just have the cheap muffler clamps that come with alot of mid pipe setup's you might want to try some band clamps. Mine were leaking with the muffler clamps but the band clamps took care of it. You can get them at most O'reilys or Napa also. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30733/10002/-1
