Is the shifter in the GT supposed to be real notchy? Sometimes I'll go to put it in gear and just let it pop it's own self in after waiting a hefty second. It feels like I'm feeling everything going on down there or something.

The drivetrain in general is a little clunky. The shifter should be a little notchy but nothing ridiculous, if you think it's too notchy take it in to get looked at

Is it the stock shifter? I know my tri ax is alot more clunky and notchy then the stock. But seemings where talking about shifters. When i have mine in third it almost feels like it is not all the way in gear. If you feel the shifter while moving you can feel the rotation of the gears in the trassmission just like your pulling the shifter out of gear. If i push foward hard on the shifter it smooths out. Could my stop bolts need adjusting or what?

Sorry for hi jacking the op's thread.

What temperatures are you experiencing and does it get better as the car warms up?

I can feel it a lot when it is cold, but when it warms up it's still notchy. Like I said one time I went to put it in 4th and I just waited for it to pop itself in.. It's like the car wants to shift real slow. And it is the stock shifter.
