Default Steeda Tri Ax Problem

I have installed and adjusted the stop bolts like the instructions say to. Now when im driving and in third gear It feels like its not all the way engaged. Its like a slight vibration through the shifter handle. If i push the shifter foward it smooths out. All the other gears are fine its just 3rd. Is there something wrong or is this normal? What can I do to correct it. Help please!!

im not fimiliar with the triax but you may have not installed it right. does your shifter have a sleve that goes inbetween the shifter and the linkage? you may have put it in backwards or something. it is not good if its not totaly engageing. i woul just go over the install again.. this time i would also use blue locktight

Our cars seem to have a twitchy third gear. The Tri-Ax just amplifies the NVH.

Really hard to say without seeing it, but vibrations with that shifter are common.

You may need to shim the rear brace on the shifter with washers like the instructions say.
My Tri-Ax doesn't do that. The only real problem I have with the Tri-ax is that it doesn't really have short throws. I kind of wish I had a B&M Ripper STS.
