For performance it is worth every penney but the extra bonus is the much improved sound you get. It will actually SOUND like a muscle car!

I'd say wait. I just recieved two packages from them yesterday with a notice that they will be closed until next week. The customer service at Brenspeed is unmatched and they really know their stuff. I just ordered the C&L Racer CAI w/SCT tuner from them for $599 shipped to my door. That includes 3 custom tunes by Brenspeed made specifically for your car.

But you have to drive your cars at or near redline to see those 25 horsies, right? Driving in the mid range of a daily driver, and you will see maybe 10 HP so that wouldn't be noticeable.

In my opinion, the CAI & tune is a noticeable improvement in any aggressive driving situation, not just at or near WOT or only upper RPM ranges. I feel it coming off the line during jack rabbit starts and simple situations where I need to jump into traffic from an on ramp without being too conspicuous (a.k.a. Stingers screaming). And that's with a manual tranny. I'd imagine the auto guys see improved shifting across the dial on top of that.

I feel mine from the bottom the most and I dont even have a custom tune yet. that being said I got my CAI from brenspeed used for 135 and my X3 from them too used but unlocked for 215 so for 350 plus shipping Im set. and the canned tunes aint bad I know I can get more from a good Bchip or Bspeed tune but Im happy right now, runs great from the bottom up and that nice hit when the VCT kicks in is even better. and I turned up the redline and now Ive got a nice fat mid to high RPM hit with a solid bottom end which is where I think these cars are really weak (felt like hell going from my 88 5.0 to this car).
