I followed TacoBill's instructions to install the GTA's over the weekend.

That sucks I have installed tons of boom tubes and never had a alignment problem.
I bought them from "Last Call racing"...they said they've never had a problem either. I am going to look at the over axle tubes tonight. If I still have the same problems, he said to email him some pics. I used to have the FRPP GTA's and installed them myself with no issues...other than they weren't aggressive enough. I expected this would be the same thing.

So does this mean boomtubes would fit on my 07 with no problem, or that i would need that kit for my 07 for them to fit? $60 seems high for those tiny things.

So....I had to bend the sh*t out of the hangers. It looks perfect now but required multiple installations and removals to get them bent just right.

Dealing with the poor fitment was worth it once I got the hangers bent right. The exhaust note is the best out of all the systems I have tried (5 to date)!
This is why I want them...but if they welded on a bracket wrong, or whatever, there is a set on the shelf that I shouldn't have to screw around with so much. I just don't want to play the UPS game. Nevertheless, I am determined one way or another to get these on the car.

If all else fails just take it to a muffler shop and pay them the $30-35 to do it. A half hour later you're done and then you can forget about this.

A couple things...

1) Driver's side...a little rod tweak and a tweak of the over axle pipe from the H pipe...fits good.

2) Passenger side...a rod must of got bent during shipping (wasn't obvious yesterday in my haste)...tweaked the rod back...over axle pipe tweak...fits good.

An over reaction ( as my wife suspected)...yep...do they sound good?...Hell yea!

We may now kill this thread!
