Default Long Tube Header Install ????

When installing Long tube headers do you have to drop the K-Member?? And are they really hard to install?

Nobody has to drop the k-member for a LT install.

Did you take the starter and motor mount off on the pass side?

^ Yep. Plus you gotta jack the engine up a little.

Long tubes are easier to install because theres not a maze of twisted pipes up top to fit in the engine bay. I always thought long tubes would be harder.

Yep, but I hear that not everyone does. The performance shop where I go dropped my K-member lifted the engine slightly and everything slipped right in and all bolts were nice and tight. Downside is, you now need a front end alignment after this !!!
