I would stick with 3.55s, its not like you are going to have a shortage of torque with the blower. As you are realizing the end of the track can be a problem if your gearing is too short.

In my case, if I were racing another N/A S197 with 3.55 gears and we were both shifting @ 6500 rpm, my opponent would not have to shift into fourth gear at all, saving a few tenths of a second. Gearing is always a double edged sword.
