Well, they were the ones who put on the CAI and sold me the Diablosport. The dealer replaced my Throttle Body and Fuel Pump after I put on my S/C. It all depends on what dealer you take it to and the relationship you have with that dealer. I simply asked them if they would work with me, it's all about the approach.

oh.. didn't realize they did all the work for you... i didn't think brenspeed did work with diablosport? are you saying you had a vortech installed w/brenspeed sct tune on it.. then they installed a CAI with a diablosport tune on it?

edit.. just re-read your first post again... still.. confusing.. you had a JLT II with abama tune on it.. but the dealership sold you the diablosport and installed the intake for you using the bama 93 tune? the failsafe mode could have been triggered from a lot of different things.. including bad gas.. improper install..

but now you are running a brenspeed installed vortech with a 93 tune w/o any trouble?

Mishri: I bought the KandN FIPK and diablosport from the dealer. They installed it with a "canned" tune from the Diablosport tuner itself. So, they knew EXACTLY what was on my car and told me it wasn't going to be an issue since they were the ones doing it. I realized that this wasn't what I wanted and bought a JLTII from Bama with an emailed Tune. I installed that one. Fine for over a year. Then in the last three weeks, it's been hell for me.

I had the S/C installed from Brenspeed running an SCT with a 93 Tune. Thats when all this went wrong. Throttle body went bad, then the Fuel Pump, car sat in the dealers lot for over a week because they couldn't figure out what was wrong, ended up being a 20amp fuse in my BAP(which I had no idea was even there and neither did anyone else in the forums...lol). One of the mustang techs thinks it blew when the fuel pump went out. Car is running perfect now.

Thanks.

They put it on and then tell you 'he's seen it a hundred times...'

157db: Yes, they were the ones who put on the CAI and sold me the Diablosport(and put the "canned" tune on my car), then 12 months later proceed to tell me that he's seen this 100 times, and so on. The funny thing is I've known this service manager for 10 years, and he still gives me this ****.

So, needless to say, I have stopped going to this dealer.

I took it to another dealer, after I got my S/C installed, when all this other stuff happened, ie TB, Fuel Pump and what not. So, my car has not been marked by Ford or anything else........yet. HAHA

Hey what's up. Yeah that's a load of crap AND a ford tech not knowing his *** from a hole in the ground. These is a TSB(05-14-4) for the tps, wrench light and failsafe mode. Bring it to White's Ford in Urbana Ohio or PM me and I'll take care of that issue. I personally don't care what's been done to it if it's a TPS then it's ford's issue not the tune and CAI.If you bring the car up ask for Will (that's me) I'll do you right. There are a lot of ford tech's that can't think beyond the box(we have a couple). Can I also make a suggestion? Find a dealership that pays it's tech's by the hour not by the job you'll have a much better experiance and a properally diagnosed car because they are willing to take the time it needs to find out the problem because it doesn't cut into their paycheck!

well glad it's working well for you now.. im surprised the throttle body and fuel pump went out on it.. that doesn't sound like a common issue.. (although ive heard using boost-a-pumps can cause your fuel pump to fail faster)

Did you put in a second Fuel pump???? The FRPP 550hp S/C comes with two fuel pumps, upgraded fuel injectors. I don't think the stock fuel pump can handle a S/C with a good deal of boost.
