I have stock exhaust so it's the 2.25" pipe. I'm thinking of two different options. 1.) swapping out to flowmaster super 44's or, 2.) slp loudmouths. The problem is that the flowmasters come with 2.25" in/out, and the loudmouths come with only 2.5". Will the 2.5" fit? Also, will the straight "glasspack" style of the loudmouths work with the exhaust or would pipes need bent?

with your 98 GT, go with the flows. i have them on my 92 LX and they sound great.

Flowmasters sound nasty on older stangs, id go with that

I had Flowmasters on my previous '95 GT with no cats and they sounded amazing. IMHO, there is nothing like the sould of Flowmasters on an older Mustang. It is very distinct.
