Default Adding some "Go" mods to the GT

Hey guys,
I've been reading this forum for a while and just ordered my first 'stang a couple days ago. The anticipation is killing me but I definitely would like to add some power once my ride comes in. I have a very basic knowledge of how some of the aftermarket pieces work and I'd really like some help figuring out the most efficient and cost effective mods that would increase my cars performance. I've read a good amount of CAI's, exhaust systems, s/c's, but I know there is plenty more to look into. Can you guys help me out finding the right mods to add? Just to clarify, I ordered the 2010 GT Premium, 3.76, 5 spd. Thanks in advance.

Nice ride man and welcome, theres plenty of stuff you can learn by browsing the site, and plenty of people to meet. My personal thoughts would be to add a SCT Tuner or get a custom tuner. People say you will get more power out of a custom tunned Tuner than a stock tuner out of the box, custom tunes such as a bamachip or Brenspeed tune ETC. Next I would do exhaust I personally love bassani deep rumble and Stainless Steal. As far as a supercharger if you are wanting to keep your warrenty Roush and Ford Racing are offering superchargers with 3/36000 powertrain warrenties! This is why Mustangs are so fun and great, you can mod to your hearts content. Enjoy your ride man its fun right out of the box, now get out there and make it your customized ride! Enjoy!!
