Brenspeed still had a few economy plates left - when I called them on the phone. They sold me a set. Right now they are sitting in my closet. Waiting until spring before I start thinking about installing them. I'm going to do pulleys and the driveshaft at the same time.

That's an interesting install trio, Rip. That weekend should net you some good SOTP gains. People claim not to feel too much when doing those three piecemeal.

2 questions there: I remember reading here that BamaChips was super backed-up on their orders for tunes, anyone know if that's still so? And second, I've done only mailorded tunes from BrenSpeed so far, will BamaChips balk at having to tune my car for the items listed in my sig in addition to the Deletes?

SirKnight, I read your HotRod saga; sorry hoss, that's rough man. Hope it worked out in the end...

That's kinda what I was thinking.. Plus all 3 are fairly easy installs so I'm hoping to get done with it all over the course of one long afternoon assuming I take my time and have all the tools in order before hand.

Bamachips is getting caught up a little bit, but still slow as ever. I sent Doug an email about my hot rod tune Monday morning and still have not heard back yet. But it's fine b/c I have my Brenspeed tune.

My cam saga has completely worked out. I got my money back from being scammed, I have REAL hot rods installed now and my Brenspeed tune rocks (although I'm expecting a new tune from them soon tweaked a little).

"Fairly easy install"? How simple? Can a caveman do it? LOL Seriously, basic tools in the driveway or is it more like installing headers...............hours of frustration and banged up knuckles on your back in your driveway! LOL
