I'm with you HaneyMotorsport. That is completely insane!

People spend $6000+ on a blower but won't spend the $300-700 for a fuel pump solution? Caraaaaazzzzyyy!

I can't think of anyone burning a motor down because they had a fuel system that was too big.

I have the 475 kit with extreme cold air and now upgraded boost....500+hp. I have the boost a pump and it works great. Just my 2 cents though. Gotta remember...the stock rods/crank/pistons will only take sooo much boost/power. Unless you plan to go nuts with it. I myself(JMO) see no reason for the expensive Shelby pumps....

What both of you missed was I recommended the gt500 pumps and my tuner has brains and the money to test the limits of the stock fuel system...he also had 60# inj and water meth injection.....check out the website....very smart and well known guy IMO.... www.alternativeauto.com ...he also states that he has convinced buyers to tune down the car a bit and not to max the HP/TQ on any said stock motor with FI....for longevity of the motor.....

I have the gt500 pumps and the 60# injectors and have no issues with the stock motor and 11psi boost...been 3 yrs now

I went with the GT500 to be on the safe side. You never know when you will be adding more power. It's pretty pricey but it's worth it.

Stock pumps, with 39lb injectors... over 10k miles on the blower since the January install. Been meaning to monitor the duty cycle through my SCT but have yet to get around to it. Car runs fantastically though.
