That won't even cover the block and pistons (doing it the right way)

A lot of what you want is going to depend on what your goals are in the end. It all depends on if you are a numbers kind of person who cares about how much HP you are pushing on a dyno, or a strip guy, or a guy who likes to drive hard on the streets. You are the only one who really knows what you are going to want out of your car and the great part is there is no wrong or right answer.

I don't know if you have ever driven a car with a supercharger but if you haven't I would recommend that you do. There is a huge difference between 300hp and 450hp. It isn't for everybody, I have a neighbor that bought a Stage 3 thinking he was going to push it to the limits and drives it like an old lady on Sunday.

Personally I like cars with some show and some go. I have never liked having sports cars that look like every other one on the street. I have always gone the simpler route of changing cams, rear ends and exhaust to get more hp than the average guy but they still manage to get people to turn their heads.

My son and I were looking for things the other night for the car and he said that he finally understands why his mom and sister like going shopping.

Actually, my stuff has always came in at budget. But none of us are trying to launch our cars to moon like you mark. J/K

IMO, he had the right idea from the start Centerfuge & Gears, Youll be happy with it, Like the others are saying though... You can spend an extra 2k on a kit installed To feel the instant torque of a TwinScrew... Its up to you, If you like to have Freeway fun i would go with Centerfuge, if you are the kind of guy that likes to take off from a stop light and smoak the tires down the street i would go twinscrew... And i wouldny nessisarly go Turbo unless you know a good tuner in your area that you Trust. As of matter of fact, i wouldnt buy any system supercharged or turbo unless you know a tuner who has delt, and is confident in his abilities for that perticular brand.
