Why did I have to re-tune?
I am currently running a Brenspeed 93 tune which I love. Yesterday I noticed the car felt like stock with a big difference in lack of throttle response and power. When I got home tonoght from a Mustang rally, I downloaded the tune again and everything is back to normal with my 93 tune, ie great throttle response, torque etc. The only thing I can think of is the last time I drove the car I had taken it up to 135 mph, tacking it up to 6500. Could this of caused a reset?

Typically it takes disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes to reset the adaptive learning on the 05-09's. Reloading the tune does not USUALLY reset adaptive learning. It's not unusual for our cars to slowly feel less "spirited" as the adaptive learning changes settings from stop and go and "lazy" driving (for the sake of not being able to spell lackadaisical). I've often ran over 110 MPH and also hit my 6500 RPM rev limiter on numerous occasions and never had the car feel sluggish on a Brenspeed tune. Maybe you just THINK normal driving is sluggish after 135 MPH!
Maybe reloading the tunes on the '10 DOES reset the adaptive learning.

Your tune should not change. In other words the car will always run like the first time you installed the tune.
All Spanish Oak processors have the adaptive learning reset when you upload a tune. The reason being is that the entire operating system is stored in the flash memory, not just the reference tables. And since you cannot write just the tables over, the tuner has to reflash the entire operating system (hence the reason the tuners need your strategy code to write a tune for ya). On a Gm and older Fords, this isn't the case, where the Operating system is hardcoded and just the tables are flashable.
I think GT Bob is right. I have to reload mine every couple of weeks, and it seems to reset the adaptive learning. I don't like disconnecting the battery because I lose all of the AV/Navi settings. I think I'll put a call in to Doug at Bama to see what he says about it.
