More info would be great. Thanks.
Reading is key

Sorry to hear about your motor. In the end, just gives you a excuse for more HP

High gear high speeds full throttle = too much load = boom.

mashing on it at 140 did the job. Its tons of more load on the engine then mashing on it in 2nd gear......

My kit is tuned for 9.5 psi. The kit also came with the BAP and not the dual pumps. The power is around 445rwhp est from what I've seen from others on here pushing and what Brenspeed told me.

I was set to 30 on the BAP on the lean side, but this was what Brenspeed told me they have been able to run safely. Now, this was my first winter with an S/C and it was about 30 degrees or less out so I know I just ran too lean.

Trust me, I didn't have the money to do this. I had to take out a loan which the bank applied to what I owe on the car so I was able to refinance and make lower payments than what I make now. I also have had to move other funds I have around and I'll tell you now, I'm fully tapped.

When I installed my BAP it stated on the instructions to leave it set to full rich. Did they specifically tell you to set it there, or that it 'should" be safe. Also the weather played a role in this I'm sure, along with the serious load on the engine at that speed.

pics?
Not that I can help just want to see pics.
If you need a new motor wouldn't it be cheaper to find a new/used car and use your super charger on it, assuming its not damaged?

First time I've seen a stage 3 from Brenspeed blow an engine. I'm driving mine in the winter, but I stay outta boost when it's cold and also running a 91 octane tune, with 93 octane gas, figure less timing is better in the cold.

Good luck with the new engine!

I think you nailed it, bro. Sub freezing temps and running lean on boost will cook a motor. Thanks for sharing, sorry it happened.
