Default Changed UCA Bracket

I changed my upper control arm bracket yesterday, and all I can say is what a pain in the @%%!!! I was considering buying a car lift before, but it has moved way up on the list of priorities. The job itself isn't difficult, having a lift would have cut down on the time considerably. I am glad I got it done, that little rattle from the old one is finally gone.

if it's the piece i'm thinking of, that's one of the
reasons i left it in place! i wimped out and only
replaced the UCA itself....

Yes, that's the one. You have to drop the fuel tank down to be able to get the old one out and put the new one in. I will say the Metco unit I put in is so much stronger than the old.

I have this Steeda set-up awaiting install along with a PowerHouse driveshaft, which I know will be a PITA. That is probably why I have procrastinated the install all winter. But with spring around the corner, I just need to get it done!

the stock unit.
