Can anyone who had this issue before installing a short throw shifter verify that it went away afterwards?

I have had it happen once, just after I installed my CAI & Tune. I was out trying to show a buddy the performance of the car and was on it pretty hard. When I did the 2-3 shift it just felt like it never clicked into gear. I have been super cautious every since that time.

Only happens to me when I'm not concentrating(or if there's a drink in the cup holder-hahaha). At the track I've never missed a gear, but then again my concentration level is ultra high

Yeah it's not a matter of concentration or lack thereof, the car simply doens't like to go from 2 to 3 at WOT like it does tooling around town under 3K.

I agree with the long throw on these stock shifters...A guy in the local mustang club let me test drive his car with the newly installed short shifter, it was amazing. Like night and day.

No problems here. Just about everytime I drive the car I powershift at WOT first to second and second to third. Slick as butter with the stock shifter.

I have heard the term...could probably Google it... what is power-shifting again?? Not using the clutch right??
