OMG this is the thread i've been looking for!

I have a 2010 Mustang GT and been considering buying the Roush M90 since it's cheaper compared to the 2300.

Here's some questions for you experts:

1. My goal is to be around 420 - 430 rwhp. Can this be achieved Safely and not break anything on my Mustang with the M90?
2. What does the M90 SC come with (parts Wise)
3. Do I need to buy extra parts? intercooler? gauges? fuel pumps? different pulley to get more hp?

Sorry for the newbie questions but I really need help :/

420ish should be safe, but its all about the tune. If the tune is on, you should be okay. But its also on you to not constantly beat on it, or else after a while your shortblock will start to wear down

Dude the m90 is a great little blower. It will deliver you the HP you are looking for but you will need a little more than what the kit delivers. First of all the kit is complete and with the 2010 model its fricken plug and play. You dont have to hack into the wire-harness like the rest of us. Kit comes with everything you need including new spark plugs. But for the full power you will need a CAI and a tune. I cannot stress this enough, order your tune from brenspeed. These guys are able to dial in this blower better than anybody. I have had other tunes........ nowhere near as good.

This blower is also very safe. Keeping the HP and torque at or below 450 seems to be the safe power level. Yes there are guys with much more and nothing has broke so think of it as rule of thumb. The TVS is the better setup for more power but it produces so much power you need to start thinking building up the motor and trans. The m90 peaks in the under 500 HP range. So if you are thinking about wanting more than that then its not for you.

FWIW, I have around 200 trips down the quarter mile with my current setup. Car runs so well. I have complete faith in it. This kit installs very simply. You can download the instructions from the roush website. Lots of more info over at fnsweet.com

Thank you 808muscle, that's exactly what I needed to know.

So the only thing I need to buy is a CAI? no fuel pump?

The M90 is totally capable of those numbers with the right supporting mods. Just keep in mind, that's also close to the max that it is capable of. 808 is definitely the guy to talk to. He actually puts his car to work.

Yes that's perfect for me. Im not shooting for 500hp as that would be too high for me right now. This is my 3rd Mustang (2003 Convertible Gt & 1999 Cobra) but It's my first mustang off the dealer and also the first Mustang Im building and I Love it.

Wow. Mine is also my third and is also the only one I bought new. The only difference is I modded the hell out of all 3. This one is the keeper, though.

Thank you Diabolical..........I literally only bought this car to race with. Its at the track for every event they have. It has performed way beyond my expectations. The only part to have failed was the rear end clutches. Not bad.... The one mod I am holding off on is a new torque convertor. That would put me into the next bracket 11.99 and honestly my RT with the pro tree is not close to perfect for every run. In that bracket I would lose more than win. I need to get better before faster.

OP, no fuel pump upgrade unles you go for the smaller pulley and that just produces way too much heat. I wouldn't bother. Its very ineffecient. You can get more power through cams, longtubes, driveshaft etc....

I believe I did a install thread for my m90. You may find some good info in there too.
