Default Tune Question

Stupid question. How do I find out if my Brenspeed tune has the options unlocked? I acquired gears on the cheap cheap and would love to install them

Thanks guys

I have contacted Brenspeed on the same issue, you can still change ratio with their tunes

Gear size is one of the user-adjustable parameters on most of the handhelds.

Normally but when you get a custom tune, some tuners lock everything down in their tunes and you can't change a thing. My first email tune I got back in '05 from DTP Racing for my JLT intake was totally locked down and I had to reach out to them to get a new tune for my 3.73 gears.

Plug in your SCT
Return to stock
Load custom tune
Select Brenspeed tune

If you can change the option, the SCT will prompt you to do so.

If you cannot change the options the SCT will merely load the tune and you need to have it unlocked.

that's how my SCT tuner came from Kenne Bell. I can adjust the rear axle ratio and the wheel revs per mile so if I change anything I can correct the speedo.
