so is there any point to pourin a bottle of seafoam into a full tank of gas, each of you has a different opinion. also do you need to change ur oil or plugs after?

You only need to change your oil if you pour the seafoam into the crank case. I seafoamed my car yesterday because I am planning to change my plugs and I want to eliminate as much carbon on the plugs as possible. I sucked about 1/3 of the 16 ounce can into the intake through a vacuum line and then put the other 2/3s into the gas tank. She smoked pretty good, so I hope at least some of the carbon was broken up. I'll try the plug change this weekend.

Using Seafoam in the tank may also eliminate a pinging problem that cannot be resolved thru other means(using different gas, etc.). Been there, done that.

How long after you seafoam should you change the oil? I'm pulling mine out of hibernation this week. No sense for me to put new oil in, seafoam and then have to change it again shortly down that road. That's just a waste. The oil that's in it now has been in it since last October with only 1,500 miles on it. Mobil 1 full synthetic. I ran it for 10-15 mins once a week all winter. What do you think?

500 miles or so.
But, oil gets contaminated with combustion by products
(1500 miles is still not low enough to prevent oil contamination)
and this causes acids to form over time that can pit bearing journals.
You really should have changed the oil BEFORE you stored
her for the winter.
15-20 mins of running does nothing but pull more moisture out
of the air during the cooling down period after running the engine.
And does little to exaporate the moisture thats currently in the oil.
Its best to just let the motor sit with a battery tender and nice clean
fresh new oil in her. during storage.
