Default Header gasket

I ordered Mac longtubes and forgot about the header gasket. I should order new ones right? The only gaskets I see on brenspeeds site are for kooks? Thanks

Get the stock steel ones from your Ford dealer. They work well.

Or just re-use the stock one you have now, but put high temp copper rtv on the back side of it to seal up any gaps.

I re used my metal gaskets.

and then paid a mechanic $300 to change them out for BBK gaskets cause it leaked so bad i couldnt drive it. RIGHT in the middle of finals too. Couldn't be without my car and had to study so i couldnt do it myself.

dont cheap on this stuff. it'll bite you in the *** down the road

I called hooks during my install and Kook's recommends re-using the OEM peice. Funny to hear that from Kooks themselves. Adding the RTV sealant isn't a bad insurance peice either.

Percy makes some real good gaskets I believe they're called Seal-4-good. They are re-usable metal gaskets. Just install them with some high temp copper RTV and you should be good to go.

The stock "exhaust manifold" gaskets are nice and solid. I'd replace them to ensure no leaks.

Percy hands down. I just had my pypes Lts installed with them at a custom mustang shop here in town. They told me to get the stock ones also but after reading, i went with percy. They said they were the best they had seen. They are a bit pricey but its definitely worth it.
