Default JLT intake and x3

Ive read that a JLT intake without a tune gives you 27.9 horsepower on American Muscle and that the SCT X3 gives you 22 hp without a JLT intake. Im pretty sure they meant to the wheels also. Are these numbers accurate they seem kinda inflated. Does anyone have any experience with these matters?

They sound pretty accurate to me although I would stay away from JLT since I and others are having a problem with them after having them on our cars for a few years

Those numbers sound high. You get about 20 to 28 hp with a CAI and tuner combo. Didn't think JLT made a no tune intake. I know C and L does.

No way you are going to get 50HP with a CAI/tune.

High if he is combining the numbers to a total but you cant run a JLT without a tune so I doubt they could have numbers on just it alone

I know you cant run a jlt without a tune but on american muscle they make it sound like they did and i couldn't figure out how they did it.

nevermind i think i figured it out after i went back and reread the description. they said without a custom tune so i think they just used a stock sct tune and not something from bama or brenspeed
